This week in Brandywine Campground

With the help of Carly and the Mike Eye the Game Warden, we captured a black rattle snake last Sunday! Carly nearly rolled her bike on top of him and she heard what sounded like a baby rattle. He was about 3 to 3 1/2 feet long.

This past Thursday and Friday we packed up most of our house and moved it into a storage unit in WV. It was a great adventure with lots of help from the Piedmont Ward members to pack the truck. Brad drove the 26' truck over both Shennandoah mountains without any problems. Brayden and Tyler really enjoyed the ride in the Big Truck.

Saturday we took some R&R at the Massanutten indoor/outdoor water park.

Play days

Play days at the campground......Tyler (at 3 1/2) learned to ride the bike without training wheels in May. Now he is out of control!

Brayden has passed 'out of control' on the bike to cruisin' the campground.

Camplife

Mix thoughts about campground life. Actually Garrett is pondering the '16" rite of passage now to dating (hee, hee)

Brayden is a master fire builder (pictures are backwards from his start to finish)

A bear hunting we must go!!

After 5 weeks of terrorizing the campers coolers we captures this sow guesstimated at 150-160 lbs. After the bear we faced a different challenge...the midnight barking chiwawa!! Killer minature dog who roams the forrest unchallenged! Until last night when we captured him too! Actually, he walked up at 1:00 am and sat on our door step.
